1996 | Jun 1 | Grayling took part in Exercise TAPON 96, an allied exercise held in the Alboran Sea, Gulf of Cadiz, and the eastern Atlantic Ocean. |
1997 | Mar 1 | Grayling was deactivated, and placed "in commission, in reserve". |
