1943Mar 9Launched.
 Sep 28Commissioned with CDR. Manning M. Kimmel in command.
1944Jan 1On her 1st war patrol, Robalo hunted for Japanese ships West of the Philippines where she damaged a large freighter. When she arrived, her commanding officer was summarily relieved by Admiral Christie and replaced Manning Kimmel.
 Mar 1During Robalo's 2nd war patrol in the South China Sea near Indochina, she damaged a 7,500 ton tanker.
 Jun 22Robalo departed Fremantle,Australia on her 3rd war patrol to arrive on station about 6 July. On 2 July, a contact report stated that Robalo had sighted a Fuso-class Japanese battleship with air cover and two destroyers for escort. She was never heard from
 Jul 26Sunk by Japanese mine in South China Sea 26 July 1944. 78 lost, 4 more lost in captivity.
 Sep 16Rabalo was struck from the Naval Register.
