US NAVAL ACADEMY Main floor of the Nimitz Library Glass sculpture dedicated to the lost crews of the USS THRESHER SSN-593 and USS SCORPION SSB-589. Dedicated on 10 April 1997 At the base, on the narrow ends, placards can be seen that honor each lost submarine and it's respective crew. The artist, Eric S. Krag, is the son of an officer lost on the THRESHER.
