On Saturday, September 28th, 2013 the USS Toledo Base of the USSVI dedicated a Memorial to ALL Submariners – Past, Present, and Future. A Tolling of the Boats Ceremony was part of this dedication. Gibsonburg Mayor Greg Gerwin addressed the group welcoming the memorial to the city. Mrs. Connie Paxton of Toledo was introduced being the mother of Commander Mike Majewski the prospective Captain of the USS Toledo SSN-769. o "Dedicated to All Submariners".
