The Mark 14 Torpedo at Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park
Description
A Mk 14 Torpedo was added at the rededication of the rebuilt memorial after Hurricane Katrina. It was the primary submarine weapon used in WWII but was also carried onboard US submarines through the cold war until 1975. The torpedo was donated by the US Navy and transported from the State of Washington by F&H Trucking of Gautier, MS. Advanced Collision Services of Ocean Springs, MS did the paint and bodywork.
