Memorial: USS Blenny SS-324 Bell
USS Blenny SS-324 Bell
Slip Halslip polishing the Blenny Bell
Description
Posting date: August 2002 by Frank Toon - World War II BLENNY crew member It seems the bell was removed from the boat during the Guppy conversion by Butch Hahn, the COB at the time, and was stored up in the attic of his garage. After COB Hahn died, his wife contacted "Slip" Haislip and asked if he could make use of it. It is now at Ballast Point.
