Pate Transportation Museum Just South of Fort Worth The propeller is stamped "SS 572-573" (Sailfish / Salmon) The prop is marked with the Navy Standard Stock Number, the BUSHIPS serial number, the BUSHIPS drawing number and other information (it's a Port prop and weighs 3,080 pounds, for example) USS Sailfish is now moored under the USS Midway. USS Salmon was sunk near Hudson Canyon , south of Long Island and is used as a sonar target.
